Custom Tailoring, as defined by us, is your ability to have an article of clothing constructed to your chosen personal specifications. This means you select the fabric, design the garment and of course provide your individual fit parameters. With our guidance and expertise you will create a look that is as individual as you are.

Proper Fit

The single biggest mistake made by most men when it comes to properly dressing themselves is not having their clothes fit them properly. It is understandable since most purchase their clothes “off the rack”. Items that are ready to wear are made for the masses in general sizes and unless your body type is well matched to those standards you will not be properly fitted. We not only take over 30 body measurements we also consider your build, posture, and unique body traits. We adjust for all of these factors in order to achieve the best possible fit.

In addition to how a garment fits you, the fabric from which it is made is critical not only to the appearance but to how it feels when worn. We source our fabrics from some of the finest mills in the world. Your choices are practically endless. If we do not have it at our immediate disposal we will locate and make it available to you. This means you do not have to settle for anything other than what you want.

Finished Products

The manufacturing of a custom garment has traditionally been an art form. The bespoke tailors of the past are in large part no longer. Today technology and assembly line production is the norm. However, there is still the ability to produce custom garments utilizing these modern methods at much more affordable prices than in the past. This can be accomplished as long as the process is properly managed and there is some hands-on approach to making the adjustments that inevitably will be necessary. At RICARDO we oversee every aspect of the process and any corrections that may need to be made will be done in house by hand. Your finished product will be what you should expect from a garment made specifically for you.
